BROUMY
Broumy beer bears the same name as the village where the Matuลกka Brewery is located. This amber lager was first brewed to celebrate the brewery’s 10th anniversary and in 2025 it won a gold medal at the World Beer Cup in the USA in the Kellerbier/Zwicklebier category.
PROSTฤ LEลฝรK
A classic from the Bad Flash brewery. A light lager with traditional SAAZ hops and the more modern Czech Harmonie hops. Both beers have just the right bitterness, with a hoppy aroma complemented by delicate herbs and flowers. The name literally means “simply lager”
PALE ALE 12
This month, we have included another simple American Pale Ale, this time from Mazรกk in South Moravia. It is a very drinkable ale with higher bitterness and a distinctive aroma of citrus and tropical fruit that you will enjoy.
SLOW DOWN
Session Hazy IPA is a lighter version of stronger Hazy IPA and NEIPA beers. The NOZIB brewery specializes in these beers. Thanks to the hops used in the beer, you will taste citrus, tropical fruit, and delicate herbs. The beer has a higher bitterness and a full body, but remains very drinkable.
STARTING SHOT
NEIPA as it should be. Nice and strong, dry, with a distinctive aroma of tropical fruit and citrus with a hint of resin. Thanks to the use of Alexis malt, the beer has a nice full body, which, together with the juiciness typical of this style of beer, creates a very fine beer.
SEA BUCKTHORN GIGNER GOSE
The Gose beer style originates from Germany, and to be a true Gose, it should contain wheat malt, salt, and coriander. In Zichovec, they added sea buckthorn and ginger, creating a unique beer that refreshes and energizes.
